Trio’s lease (traditionally 3 years) unlocks a new door to homeownership, providing a long-term solution for potential homeowners, allowing them to choose and live in the home of their choice, while building for its purchase in the future.

At every step of the way, Trio provides affordability for the customer and assists them in their dream of homeownership. To ensure current customers become mortgage ready and achieve homeownership, Trio provides financial coaching throughout the lease through its Success Program. And when the customer is ready to purchase the home, Trio can gift any equity earned during the lease term to be used toward the down payment. The consumer’s ultimate purchase price is set as low as 1% above the original cost of the home when leased. And throughout the process, Trio’s customers are supported through partnerships with local government and nonprofit housing agencies to deliver affordable solutions and assist with qualification.
